Lute DuoAnna Wiktoria Swoboda and Maria KorzeniowskaIn the Renaissance part of the programme, the duo presents works by one of the most important lutenist-composers, John Dowland, alongside his contemporaries, drawing a rich musical panorama of England in the 16th and early 17th centuries. The second part brings dance-like and virtuosic Baroque works, in original versions and the duo's own arrangements, for instruments hugely popular at the time and fascinating today — the theorbo and the Baroque guitar.

Korzeniowska & Bujnowicz DuoOktavia Bujnowicz and Maria KorzeniowskaThe duo is formed by Oktavia Bujnowicz and Maria Korzeniowska. In music, both guitarists regard conveying emotion and beauty as the highest value, and it was this — together with their musical sensitivity, shared sense of aesthetics and love of making music in chamber ensembles — that motivated them to work together. Their repertoire spans 20th- and 21st-century guitar music: works originally composed for two guitars as well as transcriptions and arrangements of orchestral and piano pieces. Both play instruments by the Italian luthier Luigi Locatto.

Lucky Lutes ConsortEarly music ensembleA young, enthusiastic early-music ensemble born out of a love for the sound of lute instruments. Its three musicians share a passion for uncovering the forgotten sounds of the Renaissance and the Baroque. Their interpretations are marked by freshness, historical fidelity and artistic zeal, carrying listeners into the world of past eras. What sets this project apart is a rare combination of instruments seldom heard in public today. These instruments reveal an uncommon richness of colour in Baroque music: the sight and sound of the theorbo, the Baroque guitar and various kinds of lute make for both an artistic experience and a fascinating journey through time.
